Friend of Festival Award for Robert J. Wierzbicki in Hollywood
Robert J. Wierzbicki received the FRIEND OF FESTIVAL AWARD at the Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles. Prof. Wierzbicki is an advisor to the Polish-American Film Society on matters concerning web Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles 2014 and web archiving systems. The recipients of the award were among others the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles and Yola Czaderska-Hayek.

15th Annual Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles
The Polish American Film Society announced the 15th Annual Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles (October 7 – 16, 2014) celebrating the greatest achievements of Polish filmmakers. The festival will open on October 7, 2014 with star-studded gala during which both Polish and American moviemakers will walk the red carpet at Hollywood’s legendary Egyptian Theatre, an extravagant start to a ten-day-long celebration of Polish Cinema through October 16, 2014 with subsequent screenings at the Laemmle’s NoHo 7 and Royal Theaters.
